We started from a position that sounds obvious and is expensive to act on: the complaint should not be how anyone finds out. Everything about how this company operates follows from taking that seriously.

Commercial cleaning has run for decades on a single sequence — dissatisfied client, complaint, late correction, damage already done. It persisted not because anyone preferred it, but because the complaint was the only signal available. Protex was built to replace that signal with a measured one.

Doing that meant instrumenting buildings, scoring inspections rigorously enough to trend them, recording work at a granularity nobody asks for, and building the software the whole operation runs on. None of it shows up in a price comparison, which is precisely why most of the industry has not done it.

The pages below are the commitments underneath that decision — including the ones that cost us something. Excellence without excuses obliges us to keep records capable of showing the operation failing, and to describe what we do in the words we can support rather than the words that would sell better. The clearest example is OSHA Compliance, where we decline a claim most of our competitors make.
